About
Luann James has been writing rhyme since the third grade. Throughout the years, whether it was poems for her children, greeting cards, invitations, or silly notes to her husband, rhyme was always a way for her to express herself. Her grandchildren are her greatest inspiration for creating stories that incorporate their personalities and interests, and she loves to write stories that involve the imagination and encourage children to accept themselves as they are.
A married mother of two and a grandmother of four, she considers herself fortunate to make her home on the coast with the beach so close. She married the love of her life fifty years ago, and he is still her hero. When Luann isn't writing, she loves watching sappy romantic movies, dabbling in photography, and browsing the children's books at her local bookstore.
